Northern California

Yesterday got yo watch the 1st stage of the Tour of California. I know it's not the Giro, but....
We were standing at the 150 meter mark and the peloton went by us 3 times. Awesome, what a rush. On the final lap it looked like Cav was trapped almost a full bike length behind, fortunately this was pure vintage Cavendish and after a few minutes it was announced that he had won, one of the closest stage wins in the history of the TOC.
Most of the big guns must be in Italy, but we do have Cav, Sir Bradley, Jens Voight, and Sagan among others.
Time trial is under way right now, so I'll watch it. Now.

Careful, before you know it, you'll be cycling 100 miles a week and not getting work done on your car(s).

Great to see Sir Brad nailed the time trial and took the overall lead.

Last week we had the Women's Tour pass within 10 miles of us on the 1st and 2nd stages. All the best lasses from around the world on our doorstep. Just as good to watch as the mens racing.

I'm of to Yorkshire for the Grand Depart of the TdF in July. It's going to be Epic.
