I'm out of ideas now and I'm praying for help as I've got a brake piston refusing to budge from the caliper. None of them would come out under brake pressure so put the caliper on the workbench and put my air line in and 3 blew out but the 4th refuses to move. Heat hasnt worked. neither has a good WD40 soaking so any miracle ideas out there? Pleeeeease as I'm not going to spend money on another caliper that might have the same problem Masturbation is not a crime its a hobby |

Grease gun should move it, but you'll have to refit the other pistons and wedge them in place. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Fusion-Fabri..._homepage_panel

Clamp the caliper tightly in a soft jawed vice, then use two pry bars or crow bars with the bends opposing each other it doesn't matter if you mark the inside of the piston as it never comes in contact with anything. Squeeze the bars together and wiggle and pull it out just dont twat yourself in the face when it comes free Speeding is like masturbating, everyone does it, but not all of us film it and put it on the internet

I had exactly the same problem with my 4-pots.

I have a set of Metro 4-pots that came off a working car last year if you need them. Metric is for people who can't do fractions. |

grease gun method is the only sensible way to put enough pressure on it in a controlled way..... use it all the time on the older land rovers with piston surface areas twice the size and hasn't failed yet....but then again there is always tomorrow.

I tried the grease gun method and the piston still wouldn't shift. It's well and truly rusted in. Masturbation is not a crime its a hobby |
