moved the car in and out of the garage on the weekend, out drive is quite steep so i thought it would be a good test for the clutch and everything else, started to reverse out and the was a noticeable judder, as i slipped the clutch and held it on the bite be became slightly worse, does anyone think this is normal for a new clucth to do for the first time until it beds in?? its just an orange diaphram, ap racing plate, lightened steel flywheel etc.

thanks

ive got the standard engine mount which has had new uprated bushes fitted, ive also got the two gearbox-subframe steadies, so the engine isnt going anywhere, ive got the front off so i could see the engine as i reversing out and it was hardly moving.

it might just be the clutch... pre-verto is slightly juddery (hence rover changing the design) and as yours is orange & race plate it might be that...

anyone know...

I've only used vertos and before that a blue (on a 998 :S) before!
