A mates just built an engine and he's got a problem with the pully.

When he tightens the nut it stops the engine turning over.

But We carnt really understand how it's possible. Any ideas?

13.95 1/4 mile on a 2.95 fd. Carnt be that hard to beat!

Try another timing cover or try to remove the plate in the back of the pulley...

Thanks for the help all sorted now. I had to hammer the pins out the pulley to get the inner flange off. So thanks again.
