What intercooler have you got? Are you running a side mount rad etc? A little more info might help.

Personally, i'm running a seat ibiza cooler sitting above the starter. Only fits though as i'm using megajolt. Plenty of guys are using cosworth coolers as well

I second the Seat intercooler.

Its a tight fit but will go in, thanks again to Rob Gavin for the advice.

Hope the pictures help with your choice.

What the mind can conceive the mini can achieve
MITP 2012 17.01 seconds 1/4 mile against "The Don"
MITP 2013 16.83 seconds 1/4 mile

My old mate andy cameron ran the 5ggt cooler in the position of the side mount rad and a front mounted metro radiator (all back in the day when we thought side mount rads wouldn,t cool at turbo and metros were ten a penny!)

You may be able to mount it on its side over the clutch but that will depend on if you are running a servo I suppose.

Have you considered an alternative cooler? Given the relative low cost of a second hand one, you may be better starting with something elsem

As said above, this subject has come up a fair few times in the past so there should be plenty of info on the site
