i have a su which i cant get the dashpot off on,

left it soaked in plus gas all week, cut a groove into the heads, heated it and i still cant get it off.


anyone know where i can get the tool from?

Always managed to get them off by cutting a slot with a hack saw. Haven't seen anyone sell the tool for a long time but you could try avr classics. Worst case scenario is cut the tops off, remove the dashpot then use molegrips to remove the remainder of the screws

Never seen them but i have had to resort to stud extractor in the past after cutting a slot failed

Almost sure I got mine off years ago with a small socket.

speed didn't kill me, but taxation probably will
