Not sure if this has been covered here ( or even right section ) about gas bottle rental, but I found out about this a couple of months ago and have changed myself. ( I just copied and pasted my reply from elsewhere )

I've been using this offer for a while. It's not the 5ft cylinder, it's the middle one. Still a very good deal though. On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:
i tried putting soap on it , and heating it to brown , then slathered my new lube on it

I may have to look into this. I've used BOC for years, but its bloody expensive and they're never open after normal working hours which made it difficult swapping cylinders. I've recently changed to hobby weld and pay £50 a refill on a small bottle, and can easily get through one in a day, which works out expensive too! https://www.facebook.com/pages/Fusion-Fabri..._homepage_panel

Over here it's £30 for a bottle, but there really isnt a lot in them It's a few inches shorter than the BOC size Y, but much thinner and only filled to 100bar. Well HW5 I use for the MIG is £30, I think HW pure Argon is £39 Edited by stevieturbo on 24th May, 2014. 9.85 @ 145mph
