Thought its about time i posted some photos of my latest project. Been out the game for the last couple of years because of buying houses, moving to the other side of the country, changing jobs and all that stuff.. Needed a distraction so thought id build this..

Got a week off work so hopefully should evolve pretty quick now!

Decided to go dry deck, K1200 came up just in time for me to use it instead of the 1100LT that i was planning to use. Wasn't sure if the cams would be a bit racy for a stroker but will see how it goes, could always swap!

Wedged and back drilled the crank for the max amount of counterweight i could get. Looked nice before heat treatment got hold of it!

S Rods all polished up

Quick clean up in the line hone today was a thou tight in places..

Going from Cam to Jack Shaft.. The gear is hard as nails hence why i didnt turn that off. Think i could have taken alot more off this to be honest. Theres alot of holesaw holes worth of weight in that and really it doenst do much.. Just a bit worried the belt tension would bend it if i go too thin..

RTS built up on an ally flywheel, alot of people 'in the know' have been expressing some less that positive opinions on this.. The general consensus is that the flywheel isnt up to it but we will see.. Any one else here got this setup?

I have the same flywheel setup, let's hope it's up to the job! As I have not run it yet!

I have started posting on Instagram also my name on there is turbomk1golf

Nothing is impossible it just costs more and takes longer.

What's it going in?

Speeding is like masturbating, everyone does it, but not all of us film it and put it on the internet

King Gaycharger, butt plug dealer, Sheldon Cooper and a BAC but generally a niceish fella if you dont mind a northerner

Rotherham, South Yorkshire

I've got the pre verto alu back plate from the same place. Less than an hour running and it's no longer flat.

Engine looks great.

What was the outcome? £150 door stop or could you make it work?

The outcome is a part built RTS and a delayed mot.

I dont really like doing stuff without the proper kit. Once you have it you cant go back!

Doesn't sound too good on the flywheel front.. What are people using successfully with an RTS?

Thing is mate, no one has run one of these on a rts yet that I know of, myself and Matty has one and yourself.

So we will see how they hold up lol.

Interesting, good skills machining manifolds for Webers.
Youtube links under tab "Racing" aren't working.
Also a tab "Music" is that some special service? *wink*

The MED one is lighter & cheaper!

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

Yeh MED would probably be my second choice. Do they come balanced?

Just wondering whether to order one now to save me some hassle but no good if it hasnt been balanced as they will take a week or two...

Wait and see what it goes in!

they are not ballenced, but being billet I'd imagine they are pretty close, I never bothered balancing mine,
