Just got back from a quick blast and the oil drain on my t3 is leaking. Quite a lot! I only drove half a mile and i would use the technical term 'its pissing out'. I was under the impression that the drain was not under any oil pressure. Would this be correct? There is a lot of oil coming out of it. Also, can the drain be removed in situ to change the gasket? Im also using -4 goodridge feed without any restrictors. Is this also correct? I really am confused why there is so much oil leaking!

Correct, thats what im using. But its not that that's leaking. Its the joint between the turbo outlet and the drain pipe itself. Where the two faces meet. |

theres a gasket in there, its probably shagged. On 28th Aug, 2011 Kean said:

as benross says, can be done insitu,(albeit bloody awkward) but youll be better off taking it out completely to ensure you get the surfaces nice and clean.
Low boosting for now. |

I had one of these leak and turned out not to be the joint seal or the pipe it was the actual fitting to the block. The flange and the pipe that goes to it are a press fit to one and other, and they some times come lose causing a bad leak.
