bought a 1300 engine two weeks ago contemplating which pistons to put in which are best recomended?

As Iain says - whatever suits your needs. <ED sell cast omegas at 10cc or forged omegas at 15cc. JE pistons are avaiable in 18cc dish at +020" and 73.5mm.
Avonbar have been prominsing some new pistons for a long time aswell... Might be worth a call-around and see what you can do.
