I'm not wanting to cut the bulkhead so I was thinking of a mirage style manifold to fit a gt17 turbo

yes you can use mild steel, but .......... stailess is much more durable

I made one with mild and it has been ok so far. Welding stainless is easy enough though. Just buy the right wire and gas.

Welding stainless is no different than steel.
9.85 @ 145mph
