anyone had any problems getting log books back from DVLA?

I sent 4 away about 6 months ago to get the address changed. I got the 2 back for the cars that were taxed at the time but didn't get the ones back for the minis. I'm not sure if it is because they haven't been taxed for years but they were in my name and at the same address as the others. I'll be a little p*ssed off if I have to pay for them now with this new system they have got

I'd be a little concerned, I applied for a new log book for mine and also declared it sorn (been off the road or about 7 years!)

I had to pay the 20 quid but i got mine back in about a week, that was about a month ago.

Sounds like their problem they've been lost, so you shouldn't be expected to pay. Don't give in yet, give them a call first.
