I've bought an engine stand, so I can rebuild my MPi engine off the floor.

Have a look at my build thread (1275gts) there are pictures of my mpi block on a stand. On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:
i tried putting soap on it , and heating it to brown , then slathered my new lube on it

It's spaced out with washers or something like that, It's in the coil pack bolt hole at top left and the block has been drilled & tapped for a standard (but longer) alternator mount where the 2 blanks are on the block. I reckon you could shift it all to the right a bit and use the existing bolt holes. On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:
