Hi I'm having trouble starting my brother's Metro Turbo and we're still waiting for the Haynes manual to arrive.

Can anyone give me some advice on removing the distributor and starter motor?

I'd like to take the distributor, starter motor and alternator to an auto electrician for a checkup next week.

I've already taken the 2 bolts off the starter motor but it won't budge...

Is there a way to remove the distributor without fully deconstructing it?

Cheers!

The starter is just two bolts, it may need a tap with a hammer.

Dizzy is just one bolt and then a clamp will come off that holds it in the hole.

The alt is two bolts at the top and one underneath.

Just look at the parts and you should work it out buddy *smiley*

I have started posting on Instagram also my name on there is turbomk1golf

Nothing is impossible it just costs more and takes longer.
