Hi guys can i get a little advise please.

I've been reading how some of you are now fitting the front mounted cinquecento radiator my question is do you find in your opinion that these are better than the side fitted alloy ones.
On ebay they have the side fitted ones with a 40mm core size the ones from china anyone bought one of these and if so do you find them to be any good .

I purchased one of the Chinese alloy rads and didn't have to pay any further import taxes. The quality looks alright but I have yet to test, but at the low cost they are I thought I would give one a go.

The one my friend bought seems pretty good from what i can see its on a big v6 engined car and as yet hes had no problems.

I have found both 40mm and 50mm cores for little difference money wise, im quite happy togive one ago i think but if the fiat is better cooling wise it could well be a far better idea.

Ah ok apologies, think i saw them listing them once with a start bid of 60 aswell as a buy it now but got put off by some postage or summin? Anyone got a link to one now? Worth a shot if they are that cheap altho i have no cooling issues even at london2brighton in the scorching heat it didnt go over half but i reckon dry decking played a part, cinquencento rad sounds cool on being able to play around with different position of things

I have a big core alloy rad, got it from min-its. has Chinese writing on it. running more than 160 bhp at 13psi, currently up to 19 psi with no cooling issues. a long hard drive, the temps will go no more than 100 degrees. it will then idle all day without overheating, even in the hot weather. the engine bay is cool, the bonnet cool to touch.

definitely worth giving a budget far east ally rad a try.

also use 4 blade metal fan, and the built in fan on the inner wing, this setup works perfectly

cheers, dan
