Hello all. Been a while since I posted on here but I do still lurk around in the back ground reading through the project threads etc. I'm having a rid out off my mini parts. I've come across a plenum chamber from a metro turbo. But it's missing the small black plastic cap/button that sits on a spring inside the plenum. I presume this seals when on boost and opens when off boost. Sorry for my crude discription as I don't know the actual part name or the job that it does. I'm wondering if there's any where I could obtain this small part or if anybody can suggest something to use or if its possible to blank this off?

Any advice on this would be much appreciated.

Thanks Ben.

It's a crude/crap form of overboost pop-off valve.

Seal it up.

That's not same as a BOV, dump valve etc. It's to try and prevent against an overboost scenario. Just crap really.

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

Or you can just run a 3/8" BSP tap in there leaving enough thread to fit a blank in there
