Hi I bought this turbo new a while ago and want to use it on the mini.

The only problem I can see with this is what I think is the oil return port would now be facing upwards. Is that a major problem as the oil is under pressure or can the ports be swapped around?

I do t think the boost actuator being on the bottom would effect it atall?

I can't really turn it over as I want to put the turbo over the clutch cover and if it was turned over the exhaust inlet would be on the wrong side.

If this can not be done I will have to remove the radiator and place it around there somewhere. Has anyone done this before?

Thanks in advance

Slacken the bolts the hold the housings on and rotate them.

It'll be good to see how you get on with that Chinese cheapo copy turbo. I don't think anyone on here has dared to use one.

In the 13's at last!.. Just

I diddnt notice you could do that!

It only there to get the car going, a fancy mock up if you will. It does come with a 1 year warranty belive it or not so if it came to it could "break" and you could get a new turbo everey year.

But believe me this thing isn't the best. The fins look like they have been finished with a grinder and I've had to give the inside a good clean

Be sure to rotate the core, the oil return port must be facing downwards or you will get problems haha
