My new shell - More progress :-D

Its an ex miglia shell of circa 96 that was apparently prepped by peter vickers. Seems very sound as it only had a seasons racing then its been slowly built up in someones garage for the past 5 or 6 years after he bought the shell from peter.
Its got a few goodies, namely carbon boot, boot floor and bonnet. Plus other things. I think i got it at the right price, ?450.
Im going to build a car between the two ive got and get rid of the rest of the bits that i dont need. Hopefully should speed things up. It wont be pretty to start as its going to be mix and match and get everything up and running before i get rid of the battle scars and go through it properly. First build is going to be mechanical only really!

this was in minimag for sale bit and i wanted it ages ago but couldnt get hold of the owner...was gonna build 2 mini turbos with my cousin, a track and a street....iam gutted as it looks mint

Well I've been doing a bit of swapping about with bits, starting to look better on the mb's I'm not worried about paint at the minute, just want it all up and working first.

Now has a full front subby, including a full s brake setup. I'm using the subby and bits off my blue one as i know its all in good condition and mot worthy!

Hopefully get the rear one on it this weekend and get rid of those lovely steels

Yep, its coming along mate.

Id love a class D trophy but i doubt it on a first outing. Its not just the machine, its the driver as well

Cant wait to get it moving under its own power. Certainly moving along now though, hopefully more updates later this weekend!

Didnt work late, it got dark, had to stop at half 8! Hopefully more progress later

Thanks to Simon i now have an engine and box its safely tucked away in the garage, few more bits to get yet but hopefully see if it sits nicely in the subby this weekend.

Its a new style rocker, means you can see whats going on!

Probably will blow up, but i'm hoping not. My engine is going to have lots of bananas because its red!!
