Can any one tell me how to wire this upto a 3 phase compressor??
1/4 Mile 14.3secs 96Mph Terminal 10psi of boost.

r and s will be single phase in, uvw will be your output but you need the datasheet for it to check with the dc tabs it could be a dc inverter... so putting a single phase on rs could make it pop lol turbo 16v k-series 11.9@118.9 :)

Mike have you bought this as a specific 240 1ph to 415 3ph converter? Or is it just an inverter you've got from somewhere? As it may not do what you want?

It is a variable speed drive for a three phase motor. Looking at the literature, the only one good for 415v output needs a 415v three phase input, so it won't do what you need. |

The reason I asked this is that sometimes they can be modified to do the 240-415 job. I have one that has been altered for that very purpose and it runs my three phase mill a treat. If you look at the standard documentation it appears to just be a standard 3ph inverter. I bought it specifically from a place called Drives Direct near Mansfield and it has worked without issues.

I didn't. I bought it from a place that sells specific inverters to convert 240 single phase to 415 three phase. It was about £350 from memory.
