Easy mate. I was planning on around 170 with mine which has been done. Depending upon how well the engine is built it could see a little more if you wanted it to. On 26th Jan, 2012 Tom Fenton said:

Yes they are quite capable of 150bhp If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |

Somewhere around 17psi is the planned boost pressure. The engine could have more or less power, but it's how it feels and drives on the road which is more important, I'm not going to run at that boost all the time, probably drop it to around 13-14 for daily use. Whatever feels comfortable really. Bear in mind I'm planning on running this on a 1380 so it's going to bring the spooling up time lower down. Might be a bit laggy still on a 1275/1293 but it all depends on what you're after. On 26th Jan, 2012 Tom Fenton said:

Remember his setup is quite different from the 'ordinairy'; he has the turbo over the clutch housing. Dazed and Confused.... |

well lotus used exactly the same turbo and they designed the system for the metro. That should give you an indication of what the turbo's capable of Masturbation is not a crime its a hobby |

The correct spec t3 is more than capable of making a mini shift very quickly... |

If you go down this route you will have to cross pollinate with a metty turbo. For instance the wastgate, elbow etc from an rs wont fit |

I'm confused with reading those, but if the numbers are correct as you say Robert, I could well end up with more than I bargained for at 17psi! Good job I have a cossie 4x4 cooler to fit! On 26th Jan, 2012 Tom Fenton said:
