Hi, need some advice, I've got an hif44 carb and want to know what the difference is to a
Turbo one... will a Turbo rebuild kit and needle / jet be enough to use it with my turbo build..
Any advise appreciated...,

Or has anyone got a Good turbo carb for sale

I have had a search did find a thread but it wasn't about converting just refurb.... I'll have another look.

Just type hif44 and you'll get all you bargain for. Worked for me.

you can do anything if you set your mind to it...
i rather blow it up winning than keep it together losing.

finish date set for project 1... march 2018

There are a few suttle changes but nothing major.

1. throttle linkage is on the opposite side.
2. throttle spindle seals are installed to opposite way
3. there is a seal under the dash pot.
4. there is an additional air way from the intake to the float bowl, to pressurise it on boost.

Its simple to convert Ratty.

What the mind can conceive the mini can achieve
MITP 2012 17.01 seconds 1/4 mile against "The Don"
MITP 2013 16.83 seconds 1/4 mile
