The BMC 1500 and 1800 diesels were slow, underpowered, but used in a lot of the leyland tractors like the 154, but really found their niche in small boats. There is a ton of info out there, just google BMW 1500 diesel...

Its a Leyland tractor engine from mid 70's IIRC had one at work engine |
