i have an intercool which has been given too me but its pretty big it would fill the whole front of the grill.

it will fit after a lot of messing about to get it to.

so my question is if i just got a smaller intercooler with the ports on the same size would it work ok?

its a 998cc which will handle around 15psi.

i want to run the boost as safe as i can with the biggest cooler. but would a smaller one would just as well?

thanks

You car has C@NT written on the bonnet??

Anyway, generally bigger the better if the same quality/design/amount if air flowing through it. But, if the size compromises any of the other aspects, you may be better off going smaller.

Take Roberts car for example. Small intercooler, but well ducted in good airflow. Works well and makes a ton of bananas.

In the 13's at last!.. Just
