O/T Everlast brand welders / what do you have / prefer ??

well id like a tig and been looking around at a few brands CIG, UNI MIG, EVERLAST few others but its basically between the ones ive listed but not decided fully

anyway has anyone herd of the everlast guys? seams a good deal for a full proper tig and middle range plasma cutter and stick..

gave everlast a call and they said they give a 5 year warranty no questions asked bring it in and swap it over for a new one so if that stands out to be true then it seams a good way to go also seams like they have confidence in there product if they say that

comes with a few bits n bobs the name brands dont like pedal and regulator

the CIG weld skill tig with the pedal and regulator (bought separate as not inc) and there cut skill plasma was something near $3500

uni mig is about $2700 for about the same kit

id like the CIG stuff but frankly dont want to spend that much

I think you can only get them in Finland in Europeland. Apparently they weld fine and if they have a 5 year drop and swap warranty (and are around to honour it) why not. If you want it to last 10 or 20 years.. I dunno. Buying a used older simple unit is maybe more sensible as TIG welding quality is mosty in the users hands and prep anyway

Over here you can buy all kinds of big bulky 380v machines for less money than that everlast costs. As 380v is increasingly harder to get in normal homes here, and they are bog and heavy they are not very popular, used
