As per title, I can't figure out what thickness to order for making my miglia bulkhead out of. 2mm seems like it would be really heavy, but not sure if anything thinner is substantial enough?

What have you guys used?

Cheers

Mike

Warwick.

I've used 1.2mm Aluminium.
Reasoning behind it was I already have a weld in roll cage, mounted to the lower bulkhead head box section and also welded to the A pillers.

You're looking at as an estimate

4kg for 2mm thick ally
6.7kg for 1.2 steel.
2.4kg for 1.2 ally
2kg for 1mm ally
