Hey Everyone,
I have been lurking on the forums for awhile now and thought I should introduce myself. I am Ross, I live on the west coast of Canada just outside of Vancouver. I love the minis and I have been around them for a little over 15 years. I have only ever had one, that I bought when I was 17. I fixed it up drove it for a couple of years and not is has sat, waiting for me to have the time and money to do the project right.

I have collected a 1275 with a near new transmission and I have inhereted a chopped and hacked metro turbo set up that I need to sort out. I need a few things for my motor the biggest of all pistons. I plan on modifying my head myself, as I have done this before with good results.

I am also working on a vtec conversion for a friend, some tidying up is needed and working to fit all the accessories in the engine bay are on the list of things to do.

I have another friend that ice races a mini turbo on frozen lakes in the north here. I have been pit crew for him a couple of times and man does his mini fly. So as you can see I am surrounded by friends with minis and my dad has been a mechanic specializing in british cars since the sixties so I have a wealth of knowledge around me. He specialized in Lotus cars, but was a BMC dealer for awhile.

I look forward to bouncing ideas off the group here and chatting about the hot topics of the day.
