Not really sure on n/a parts because I've been researching turbo stuff for so long, but one of you guys will know! Basically I don't want to be skimming the block or head on my 1275, because if I want to use it later on for forced induction it makes it easier for me to keep the c/r down. But... This long term temp engine I'm building atm has a standard c/r of 9.4:1 i believe, and for what i want that's pretty low. I'm after between 10:1 and 10.5:1. Are there any pistons out there that will do the job? And are rings easy to buy? Reason I ask is because I'm gonna have a look around to see what I can find at IMM.

ring problems are down to wear or abuse but although annoying it isn't a show stopper On 5th Aug, 2014 madmk1 said:

I know copper head gaskets are a bit tinner so thatc could help raising compcompression bit more. you can do anything if you set your mind to it...
