Evening all,

Just a few quick questions to ask.

How far do you knock the idler bearing in? Mines just flush underneath where it's chamfered. I've squirted some oil down the feed hole and it flows in slowly but not sure if it's too far in? I don't want to starve the bearing of oil.

Also the idler gear end float, I'm getting roughly a 4 thou reading on the left hand side of the gear and 8/9 thou on the right? This is looking at it straight in front with the transfer case near you. Also that's measuring in between the gearbox case and gear, shall I shim for the tighter reading?

Thanks for any help
