hi guys after a bit of help please. Apart from from the actual size of the discs whats the difference between them? Just wondering if the hubs and flanges are the same

Drive flanges are different. 7" has skinny CVs that run through the drive flange.

Calipers are different.

7" bad 7.5" good

yh i've heard 7's aint brilliant so i would need new cv's and flanges? and obviously pads discs calipers bearings lol

My conversion kit was £200, not sure how much much cvs are but cant be that much

I bought everyrhing new from minispares for the 7.5 inch settup it was reasonably priced too

Don't bother with 7's.

They're still valuable to the right person restoring a cooper, but are pretty useless as brakes. 7.5's are much better.
