I've used twist buckle harnesses on the road plenty of times, and they are also ok for the MOT.

Strictly speaking the buckle is supposed to be a red push and CE approved.

I have some securon 4 points in the metro, easy to fit and quite comfortable. I prefer them to inertia belts but thats personal preference Drives

No problem, get cutting. The seat shouldn't take the harness load , if you think about it.........
Edited by steve w on 10th Aug, 2014. This is FORD country, on a quiet day you can hear Vauxhalls rusting. |

Well I had a good look about and could only find one set of seats that I like, but they were about 500 each, so I ordered the grommets and will do some choppy choppy.....like Steve says I didn't think about it and your not cutting the structural re-enforcement part of the seat, it the seat fails in a crash I guess there will be loads more to worry about.... Let's face it I could be driving around with the original mk2 low backs in I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.
