Can only guess some sort of diesel, but very weird.

Cant really see it having much value without real detail of what it was, and even then, only likes of a museum or something

speed didn't kill me, but taxation probably will

Mine gets in the way a bit, but only when it is up. If it is down it does not cause a problem.

but the spark plug isnt exposed on any of teh chambers, origionally i thought there was pressure holes on one clinder and a precombustion chamber on another, but i had the head around the wrong way in my head.

EDIT nope the sparkolugs are exposed. holy shit thats hidden.

So an experimental head, but obviously the experiment failed or we'd all know what it was!

Door stop.

not necessarily.
a lot of inventions never reach production because they are to expensive, or not meeting coming regulations.
my guess is that it didn't gave that much better results to justify the costs

Plugs are exposed. They point at the exhaust valve, you can barely see it in the third picture. Also, dyno testing centres usually drill holes all over the engines for sensors and pipes to see whats going on inside. The unusual chamber shape is not so unusual to a specific test engine. I've seen some very wierd modifications to standard engines simply for the sake of research and testining

Its still a boat anchor though as the original concept is lost.

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...
