Hi All

Ive had a look at a few minis over the years but never found one I could commit to until now...

Id really like to go for it but im not sure what its worth. The car has been rebuilt from scratch and is in great condition with all the wide arches, leather interior, fresh engine, new turbo etc.

Are they worth as much as the unmodded minis or do they reduce the value , just not sure what ball park I should be in 5/6/7k+?

If there is crap like shiney headlight peaks fitted or play in the turbo i would err on the side of caution and only offer 5k.

Yes I will try and have a closer look this week. Have done a few turbo builds (other cars) in the past so will give a check over.

I guess its the turning up the boost addiction that really causes expense !

Paid 4k for mine last october... had been fully rebuilt with no budget, i know i got a deal as the guy was in need of quick sale but when i see real cheesey turbo minis that have had basically a old dog of a turbo lump chucked in for 5 or 6 grand i just cringe *Confused*

As there is no such thing as a standard mini anymore, it makes no difference to price; assuming you are looking at a mini that you like the mods it has.

For me the only important thing is a good shell and running gear.

Price is whatever someone wants to pay.

Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

Best thing you can do if you are "new" and have found one to your liking, is to take someone with you... Offer someone (experienced) m=on here petrol and beer money to review a potential purchase and you'll be far ahead.
