Does anyone know if a good quality online and mailorder company that can supply me with all the parts I need to build a MegaJolt?

I'm trying to work out how much I can save by just buying the board/chip and soldering it up myself. However the supplier I was looking at have failed to respond to my request for a quote...

rs componants!

but its very tricky to work out what bits you need!

There's endless cross referencing to be done, and search for a suitable map sensor is not much fun at all.

My brother has made a list for Farnell, it took us (mainly him) ages to cross referance it all.

I'm sure that there is a link to the component list on our webshite, but I can't find it.

I'm sure Ben willl pop up in a minute and give you a better answer

If your building a megasquirt my farnell list is here

http://www.twin-turbo.co.uk/MegaSquirt/

and its the Farnell_parts.xls. Buy online from http://uk.farnell.com/jsp/home/homepage.jsp

Some of the components are the same on the megajolt board. The other option is to go to digikey. Although all the components are listed for the US site there is a UK site and I guess the part numbers are the same. not done this myself though.

digikey will cost you a fortune!

I couldnt get any oscilators in from the usual RS/farnell/maplin... so used Digikey. Although they have a UK branch they still ship from america and charge you loads of P&P, duty AND an admin charge if you spend less than 4 million quid!
