Hi peeps
I know this subject has been done to death but reading the old posts still did not answer my question.
I am currently running a sytec glass fuel filter between my tank and pump, but I am experiencing very slight lower than usual fuel pressure problems on the top end of boost. I have recently had my mini set up in the rollers with out a problem. I checked my filter and noticed it needed replacing due to dirt in the filter. I have had this slight fuel pressure problem for as long as I can Remember and was wondering if it could be down to something as simple as the sytec fuel filter restricting the flow? Anyway I need to replace my fuel filter now.
I've noticed that in some of the older posts that the rest of you guys use normal cheap halfords filters.
My question is do I need to use a high flow fuel filter and if so can anyone recommend a decent filter? Thanks

Any pre-filter before an injection pump needs to be substantial.

Likewise for the supply from tank to filter, filter to pump.

EFI pumps to not suck, and do not like any restriction at all in front of them.

If you're using the crap tiny glass inline filter, then IMO in no way whatsoever should that ever be used before an injection pump

If you must use one, use one of the large bodied type here, with large diameter fittings ( not silly 8mm )
