The 12G206 head is the same as the 12G295 head correct? And just as useful for a 998 turbo...

If i remember corectly its the same except it has a bigger combustion chamber, so its better.

yep i had one not long ago a supurb 998 head with all the right bits alreadey on it.

the only trouble is very expensive valves as standard

always looking for them bigger bunches of bannanas

Sweet! I have one on my shelf, and had planned on using it on a 998 rebuild. Now I know why it's desirable.

It's NOT got a bigger combustion chamber. The ONLY difference between a 206 and a 295 is the machining for the rings that go between the head and inlet. The steel ones.

I have a 12G295 which has been ported......YUMMY anyone know what this is worth it has no valves tho

Id say that a 295 that has been ported and is without valves is no more valuable than a stock one. Have you tried getting OS valves for them... HORRIBLE!
Unless it's been ported to retain the original valves it's worth less in my eyes. Sorry.

Oh right it does have valves but not fitted cuz needs a new set of guide pressing in.
