The 12G206 head is the same as the 12G295 head correct? And just as useful for a 998 turbo... |

If i remember corectly its the same except it has a bigger combustion chamber, so its better. On 28th Aug, 2011 Kean said:

yep i had one not long ago a supurb 998 head with all the right bits alreadey on it.
always looking for them bigger bunches of bannanas |

Sweet! I have one on my shelf, and had planned on using it on a 998 rebuild. Now I know why it's desirable.

It's NOT got a bigger combustion chamber. The ONLY difference between a 206 and a 295 is the machining for the rings that go between the head and inlet. The steel ones. On 13th Jul, 2012 Ben H said:

Id say that a 295 that has been ported and is without valves is no more valuable than a stock one. Have you tried getting OS valves for them... HORRIBLE!
