Its a normal connector for example a air compressor. If you know the tread and size you can order this from for example airpress.

you can do anything if you set your mind to it...
i rather blow it up winning than keep it together losing.

finish date set for project 1... march 2018

The oil drain isn't threaded on most of the turbos I've had my hands on.

If it's a GT17 or something similar, just get a heather outlet from the head and open the holes up a knat's cock.

the method i used isnt going to work, so i need to use some more similar to whats already been done.

i bought a DSN turbo feed which was a mistake because i need something with 90* off the block then use a silicone 90* up onto the piece im trying to get the thread size for.

To be honest chief, I have tried, in your last thread me, Andy and Stevie turbo all told you your drain wouldn't work and the response we got was

Not a cheers nore a thanks nore nob all, now I don't look for you to build a gold statue of me or have a tickertape parade in my honour but I would suggest a basic bit of manners may help you get more use full advice.

were well into double figures in this thread and still no one's got the foggiest what turbo we are looking to name the thread for!!!

I'm gonna waste a bit more breath here but If your trying to make an oil drain for a turbo on a mirage style mani returned into the fuel pump hole your gonna be out of luck, the clearances are so tight making one is really the only option imo

yeah thats what im trying to do, im going to have to make one from scratch which is a pain in the arse.

i should of mentioned it is a water cooled T2 on a matty manifold

and i was thankful i just forget to tell people sometime haha i do apologise for that. i did take all your advice on and i got rid of that copper pipe i had made and tried something else, but that didnt work either :(

my idea now is using a fuel pump blank of piece welding a 90* on to it then having a 90* silicone hose up into the tubro.

thanks guys :)

I assume you mean something like the one on the right Mr PoopDog??

Notice the angle on the turbo outlet, a straight fitting may not work well. The bit on the block was a fucker to get flush, leaked a lot and ended up smothered in RTV to get it sealed.

Yeah like the one on the right in the first picture,

How did it work with the silicone pipe?

This drain has caused me the most problems in the whole build haha

Thanks again
