Turbo engine price

I know it's a very subjective topic, & also down to condition etc, but what is a reasonable price for a complete A series turbo engine & box with turbo & manifold - I know someone who has one sat in garage for 10+ years & I've offered £300, I don't really want to pay more as I know you don't have to start with a turbo engine & won't be using the turbo or manifold choosing the matty route instead,

300 is a good price for a complete turbo lump even if needing a rebuild.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

Yeah even if u chucked some red hammerite all over it and make a loada cash on the old bay! Haha

Standard 1275's seem to be fetching 350 these days so not far off the mark

never payed more than 311 for a full engine, and that was a rebuilt metro turbo lump with rebuilt t3
10 years ago prices were a little different though,
ill just say pay as little as possible because budget for a rebuld anyway

Ahhhh the days when ya paid next to nothing for a whole car just for engine :/ my metro is actually one of the 'wish i never got rid's'
