I have the play below in my radius arm, it is attached to a beam and not standard subframe. Never done any work on these before so am a little unsure. Before I take the arm off..

Does it indicate bad wear in the pin/arm or bad fitmunt with the beam.

Is that the arm simply sliding along the pin? It should be bolted up tight to the shoulder of the pin which in turn should be close to the same length as the arm body. I assume both thrust washers are fitted? Wear in this way isn't something i've seen before so i'm thinking it is something else

It could be either. You need to look!

Get under with a lever and give it a wiggle. If the nut moves its sliding in the frame. If it doesn't its the bushes..

yeah somthing odd going on there,

its unusual for the end faces or washers to wear, certainly to that extent,

Pull the pin, drop the arm out and try the pin in there with the trust washers, you should be able to do both nuts up and it just have a little clearance.

Tried changing the washer for. Bigger one and adjusting it on the beam but it made no difference.

Did what was suggested above and even with it not attached there was still the play. It was like the washers were not flush, really hard to explain. Bearings and pin looked ok,

Put it back together with some ball joint shims next to the washer and it has removed the play.

Going to order a new shaft and washers to see if it's different

could be a shoddy cheap recon arm, think I had similar once before.

basically the fat part of the pin sets the play, yu could get a bit whipped off in a lathe, or counterbore one of the washers slightly.
