Yes, it is an old paper but still very interesting.

2000 is about when Delphi were developing the common rail fully electronic deisel injecton system that must now be on millions of diesel cars.

I guess their attention got diverted....

But it's still a very interesting concept, especially as now deisel is becoming a "dirty" word again.
