Are the thermostat housings the same on std mini 1275's as the ones fitted to metro turbo heads? Your here for a good time! Not a long time!

There is no same thermostat housing, there are many different ones with different angles, metro ones normally have the spacer underneath with heater take off like some late 1275s On 24th Oct, 2015 jonny f said:

there the same bolt pattern and use the same gaskets, they are slightley angled diffrent, metro to mini but most if no all interchange

Cool thank you. I knew they were pretty similar bud didn't want to commit to buying the wrong one! Obv with cooling being a big prob with turbo'd minis i was going to run with out a thermostat or would u guys recommend a low opening temp one? Edited by franky4x4 on 7th Sep, 2014. If running without a stat you'd need a blanking sleeve to create a restriction to the flow in order for the cooling system to work as it should On 26th Jan, 2012 Tom Fenton said:
