I've got a set of KAD radius arms, one of which is missing a stub axle pin.
I know some people on here are running the arms, Im just wondering which diameter stub axles people are using?

I'll be using the arms with coilovers I should add.
The arm which still has a pin is using the larger diameter type, the coilovers I have which im using for my dry build are the smaller diameter type- off the shelf, offset protecs. Ill be changing these out for some bespoke coilovers which are more suited to the shells weight etc.

Just trying to decide if I should just replace the pin thats already fitted for small diam pins if they are suitable to most applications. or just go ahead and stick with larger diameter pins, open out my protecs to accept the larger pin and use this size for the bespoke coilovers when I get round to ordering them.

Thanks,

Dave

for coil overs I'd definatly go for the thick pins,

essentially thats all thats holding the rear of the car up, so that what 180lb static on each, but manu times that in bump... and in single shear too.

its easy enough to drill the bush to take the pin,

Yeah if you've got the choice then go for the larger ones. I'm stuck with the smaller pins as I got my arms 2nd hand

Pins can be bought from KAD at a hefty price :(
There just pressed in so can be easily removed.

I noticed the the pins have disappeared off their web site where they once used to be. I dont recall them being that expensive though.
I'll phone them when I get my arms back from being reamed for new spindles, need to ensure I get the correct threaded pin!
