Do you have oil in the dash pot? I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

20w50 in the dash pot, yeah its going lean when it drops off, ive got another carb needle to try (bdd) and ill load a different 998t map and try that. not sure what needle is in atm. If you're in the area Nick I'd appreciate that mate! On 26th Jan, 2012 Tom Fenton said:

Is it really going lean or is it misfiring? A misfire will read lean even if it's stinking rich because a misfire means more oxygen in the exhaust from the unburnt mix. And more oxygen results in a lean reading. |

Stick the bdd in. Sounds lean if it won't run without choke If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |

Sounds lean Carl. Swap the needle and check for any air leaks (I know that's obvious but it's happened to me a few times) Are you taking it to Aldon for a RR session? Masturbation is not a crime its a hobby |

And incredibly expensive, and every time I've dealt with them they seem like they couldn't give a toss tbh. Hi-tech any day of the week. On 26th Jan, 2012 Tom Fenton said:

I found a rivet out that was pretty much perfect for the job, popped some gasket sealant on the end and riveted it On 26th Jan, 2012 Tom Fenton said:

Haha the map was a mess up on Carls behalf, he didn't realize you had to flash it on so it was just whatever was installed onto the megajolt not the saved one we tried first time.

Right, just tried again with the correct map and the hole in the carb blocked, it's still doing the same thing, revs up, misfires and dies down, then picks up again, and keeps cycling that, it revs up and dies off without any throttle input except if i push the throttle a tad when its about to die it stops it completely cutting out when it wants to On 26th Jan, 2012 Tom Fenton said:
