hi all,

i have picked up the rebuild of my 998cc engine and have finally joined engine and transmission agian.

now i have started on the clutch and i was installing my flywheel (med xlite) i noticed that there were no markings on it for balancing... any tips on how to get it right? the flywheel has been sitting on the shelf for some time now and i have forgot what the 3 spacers that came with it were for as well... anybody has this installed in their mini?

King Gaycharger, butt plug dealer, Sheldon Cooper and a BAC but generally a niceish fella if you dont mind a northerner

The spacers you have under the bolts to the back plate go between the flywheel and straps. You are also missing the spring plate.

Thanks for the tip apbellamy, i've just put some bolts in to keep it all somewhat in place. i have not torqued the crankshaft bolt yet. i do not have the correct socket and will fit that first. then the backplate, i have an race one...

do i need to balance the flywheel and spring plate before fitting? i guess so as there are no marks yet...
