Somewhere around Swindon

how can i tell if a cranks been reground? i want to go look at one tomorrow

i have a vernier so whats the gernal sizes for standard 10 20 30 ect

Don't know off the top.

But I am fairly sure the Metro Haynes book states the standard journal diameter, have a look in there.

make sure it has a nice size smooth rad either end of the journal,if it's small or scored can cause the crank to snap

The mains are 2", and the big ends are 1,75 ( if I remember correctly.)

Just remove .010 of this number, and you've got the size it's supposed to be.
