Hi all,

I have just picked up another HIF Turbo carb after searching for some time and have noticed that the screws on the dashpot are different to the float and all older SU's even the other HIT turbo carb has fine threads in the dash pot, these appear to be a very corse thread.

Des anyone know the thread size as i can only seem to find the older fine thread screws here in Australia.

also is the head a double hex 7mm?

thanks guys

Grant

If you are talking about the float and dashpot screws, I've only ever come across one size unless my memory is playing tricks (very possible), and it was the "legacy" size used on all previous SU carbs - a BSW size I believe?

Don't you have a caliper and some thread gauges? This is very easy to figure out....
