I would go with anything you have to hand thats the correct thickness
Or if i was buying ( taking into account getting mini parts to belgium may not be easy) aluminium, i like working with aluminium

the biggest i can find is 14 mm and i need 17... but i have a mate that can make them. ( at least he says so) maybe a good idea to have 2 vacuum connections build in to it? bit like the one in the link.
