Vapor blast (glass bead/water mix) works best for Ali.

Strictly speaking sand is no longer used because of the silica dust being harmful. Chilled iron, garnet, soda, glass bead and plastic are pretty standard media depending of what your base material is and what it has on it.

Probably not the Wok, but the rest of it.

I've just bought my own blaster setup to do some wheels, but I need to add a few bits to make it handle soda.

Woolavington, Zummerzet

I've been recommended sodablasting over solid bead blasting (be it glass, stainless shot walnut or whatever) as it is water soluble and removes the trapped grit hazard and trashed bearings.

I've done a few cases at work in the mahoosive glass bead cabinet, and the outsides oxidise really quickly when in use if left bare.

Metric is for people who can't do fractions.

I use fine sand, it strips off the crap without effecting the surface finish. If the air pressure is low enough you can strip a coke can and leave the aluminium shiny

I seriously doubt it!
