Is it possible if we could have a FAQ on the T2 turbo as i am sure Dave and other are sick to death of answering questions like the ones I am going to ask.

Ok where could i buy a reconditioned T2 ?. I have Been looking around the reanult 5 turbo sites and they either seem very cheap i.e

"T2 turbo ?25 (probably/definatly knackered)" or "Renault 5 t2 turbo ?250" which seems a bit steap for one that has not been reconditioned.

While other sites willing to sell me a T2 without exchange are all in the USA :(

PS Jim i have heard sod all from pete (not answering his mobile) so I will just say its knackerd as he's normaly really quick to sort things out if there is a few ?? in it.

I'm just in the process of sorting out a T2 units that are built specifically for our purpose. These will be available to buy outright with no exchange required. I should have more details to give in a few weaks when ive got it all sorted out. Drop me a line and i'll mail you when i have further details.

we run a volvo turbo powered clio for our everyday car and that also runs a t2 its off the 440 460 480. plentyfull in breakers and usually well serviced or driven slowly !!
