I am looking into what way i should go with the oil dulp. Option one or 2?

On this second pic i would lead it to a splitter of the oil filter. ( at least that is what i thinck it is)

That in the second pic I think is a oil to water cooler, std metty turbo fitment a believe and maybe best off in the bin(others may have more idea with that) If you try to dump oil into either of those 2 pipes on the side, all that will happen is the oil will fall out the other one onto the floor, not into the sump/gearbox as intended
I cant see and issue with drain 1

right now you mention that i did hear something like that. the first option is only a slope off about 6 cm over a length of a good 35 cm

Distributor hole looks good. It can't flow back into the filter as that's under pressure.

Hm. Yeah. But how do i do that? Drilling a whole behind the air breader. then just bolt a tube conector to it?

Drill a hole anywhere in the transfer cover that's suitable.

Either drill/tap a fitting or weld a tube into the housing.

It's actually a pretty good idea

Second pic is a liquid to liquid heat exchanger type oil cooler as fitted to N/A MG Metro. They should be good in theory but in practice Andy & I found that it seemed to do towards cooling the oil and pushed us into overheat terriotory for the cooling system.

Perhaps if we had a much larger radiator on the van things would have been different.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

Alright look into that. Can't weld the aluminium so wil be thread for me.

Intresting about that exchanger. So other than adding quit some weight its good for the looks. No wonder i never seen them.

Looks neat. Where does that feed commes from then?Looks like from where the oil presure switch commes. Does that give enough feed?
