Last I heard it was SORN'd at a Newcastle address but whether the car exists or not is unknown. Class D Winner 1997 - 1998 - 2003

I don't recall his name, but the guy who always used to come with Mark to the showdown, he was the last owner to my knowledge...

Neil took ownership from mark last i heard, but that was years ago, not seen either at any mini event for quite some time now. probably tucked in a garage somewhere under a load of crap.! certainly not heard of it re-emerging. Here for the craic..

just spotted this thread. Aye this is not BIR 1. BIR 1 was my dads car before marks (first mini turbo in Newcastle) that mini went to Vegard in Norway. This is BIR2 which is now owned by Neil the Paramedic. it has had a colour change on the roof to black, and has a water cooled charge cooler installed, so no sticky out bits these days. Car resides somewhere in Morpeth, I have tried finding Neil (EMT on here) but my reaching out has been met with zero contact. Edited by Richie on 5th Aug, 2016.
